Gyidiman Farms Limited

was established in the early 1970s by The Saviour Church of Ghana to promote food security and economic development within the church and its surrounding communities. Founded under the leadership of Op. Abraham Kwaku Adusei, an award-winning farmer and President of the World Cocoa Farmers Organization, the farm has grown into a major agricultural force in the Afram Plains South District. With over 6,400 acres of cultivated land, including 204 acres at Odomasua, 70 acres at Bro Ahoho, 20 acres at Fiema, 15 acres at Eki-Sanga, and 11 acres at Manso, Gyidiman Farms produces a wide range of plantation and annual crops, including teak, maize, rice, mango, and vegetables. In 2019, it became a certified producer of high-quality seed rice through a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture. The farm also supports livestock operations and embraces innovation, sustainability, and community development as it continues to expand its reach and impact across Ghana.

The vision of Gyidiman Farms is to become a leading agribusiness enterprise in West Africa, dedicated to sustainable food production, agricultural innovation, and inclusive economic development.

Our mission is to advance agricultural productivity through innovation, scientific research, and responsible farming, ultimately serving the church and contributing to national food security.

Our Story

At the heart of Gyidiman Farms is a deeply rooted commitment to community, service, and faith. From its inception, the farm has relied exclusively on voluntary labor drawn from members of The Saviour Church of Ghana. These dedicated individuals include highly educated professionals lawyers, university lecturers, professional teachers, artisans, farmers, and other skilled persons who selflessly contribute their time and expertise to ensure the success of the farm. Remarkably, none of the contributors receive any form of financial remuneration. Instead, their collective effort is motivated by a shared vision of agricultural self-reliance, communal growth, and service to God and country. This unique labor model embodies the true spirit of stewardship and sets Gyidiman Farms apart as a beacon of purposeful, community-led agricultural development.
