Gyidiman Farms maintains a strong and diverse crop production program, combining large-scale plantation crops with high-yield annual crops to promote food security, community development, and sustainable land use. By adopting innovative farming methods, improved crop varieties, and responsible environmental practices, we ensure both productivity and long-term sustainability.

Plantation Crops

Gyidiman Farms cultivates key plantation crops including cocoa, teak, cashew, and mango across designated areas of our farmland. These crops have been established for several years and contribute to both commercial production and reforestation efforts. In 2022, mango production reached 162 tons from 320 acres of orchards. Our cashew and teak plantations cover 187 acres and 60 acres respectively. Consistent yield data is recorded each season to inform management decisions. Harvested products are distributed through local markets and internal church supply networks, reinforcing our community-centered model.

Annual Crops

Our annual crop portfolio features rice, maize, ginger, and a wide array of vegetables grown in accordance with a structured seasonal calendar. We adopt high-yield, improved crop varieties suited to local environmental conditions, ensuring both productivity and resilience. In 2022, we produced 1,122 tons of maize from 600 acres and 128 tons of rice from 200 acres. Ginger cultivation spanned 45 acres, and vegetables such as tomatoes, cabbage, garden eggs, and peppers were grown across more than 100 acres. Irrigation methods range from traditional rain-fed practices to more advanced drip systems, depending on crop requirements and terrain.
